Publix Sale 11/14/13-11/20/13

Here are some the of the top items to buy at the Publix Sale 11/14/13-11/20/13 for our local food banks.

This isn’t the best week for deals at our local grocery stores, but there are a few interesting coupon match-ups.  It’s a good week to catch our breath, waiting for the traditionally awesome Thanksgiving week sale with lots of B1G1 offers.

Some of our fellow North Gwinnett Co-op volunteers have been begging us to buy jelly, which rivals tuna and peanut butter as one of the toughest categories to get at bargain prices.  Tuesday night week we walked into an amazing deal on Welch’s jelly in a squeeze bottle at Publix, as we found B1G1 bottles with $0.50 peelies attached!  Ultimately, three stores later, we picked up 50 bottles for about $15 total.  Most of the time good coupon shopping is all about preparation, but every now and then you get lucky!

Be on the lookout for a great coupon flyer called All The Trimmings at your Publix store.  This collection of Publix and manufacturer coupons should be in a separate display near the front of your store.  Also, there is a new grocery Advantage flyer with deals starting Saturday, November 16.

Here are the top targets for this week’s Listelope:

At Publix through 12/6/13 (Grocery Advantage Deals)

Food Banks tend to be inundated with canned corn and green beans, so this is an excellent time to shop for other veggies.
