The BOGO Gliss coupon from the 4/9 Redplum insert has a barcode that is encoded differently than the printable BOGO Gliss coupon on RedPlum.com. That wouldn’t be a big deal except that one of the coupons has a major mistake. Unfortunately for the Dial Corporation, the coupon with the error is the coupon with the twenty million distribution.
Scan the coupons with QSeer to see the error. Also, family code 331 is being used for Gliss products, so QSeer will reflect that information in our next update. Remember that coupon acceptance is always up to your store.
Our goal is for manufacturers to create correct coupons everytime, so we launched the CHEQR family of apps. CHEQR allows manufacturers to check the details of their coupon barcodes before going to press, while CHEQR PRO includes a user friendly wizard to build accurate coupon barcodes. We have seen countless coupon errors that could have easily been prevented if manufacturers would just use a tool like CHEQR.
